Hello everybody!

Yeah, i've been checking my email for the application results!

Our school has also got the old version and since last round we have been having trouble reading the files. The school has agreed to upgrade but things are going slowly...

Hello Joanie,
I just wanted to say thanks again for video conferencing with us this week. Since it was our first video conference with another class we learned a lot from your students. We also decided that we should assign people who aren't talking to write down notes of what your students said, rather than try to talk and write at the same time. We liked the way you had your students arranged with one row sitting and on row standing as well. We have now assigned a moderator student to sort of run the whole conversation and delegate who answers what questions. So, thanks for teaching us all of these important points. I hope that our inexperience did not put you off at all. We would love to do one more quick conference in the upcoming months, if you would be interested. Thanks again for the wonderful experience! Hi Joanie,
We are still ok for Tuesday, at 8am your time, but I was wondering if you could do 10:20 am instead? I have a lot more students that can participate at that time (6:20 pm Monday for us). Let me know if that is possible. If not, we will still do the earlier time, I just wanted to give more students a chance to participate.
Thanks!

Hello Joanie,
My class of 12-13 year olds would love to video conference with your class via Skype. If it helps, many of my students are fairly proficient in Mandarin Chinese? English is their first language though. Would you be interested in working with us?
Cheers,
Alicia

Hi Joanie!
Welcome to ROW11!! Tolerance will be interesting for us now.We often see tolerance and intolerance among students at school in our daily life as you mentioned...
This topic will be a good chance fror students to think about tolerance with over the world.
See you soon!!
